Skincare secret?
SB: My secret to looking young is sleep and water. I’m a nap queen, and I firmly believe 8 hours of sleep and plenty of water will leave you glowing.
Favorite beauty superfood?
SB: Celery Juice first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It’s high in calcium, biotin, and vitamin K, all which brighten and strengthen the skin and are beneficial for gut health.
Favorite cosmetic treatment?
SB: Botox, it’s practically magic.
Favorite product?
SB: Phloretin CF by SkinCeuticals. Antioxidants are a must.
Biggest beauty myth?
SB: That moisturizer will make you break out! Most professional moisturizers are non comedogenic which means it is formulated to reduce the blockage of pores. Your moisturizer will actually create a protective barrier between your skin and the outside elements that cause dryness and breakouts.
Beauty idol?
SB: Penelope Cruz, every single year she looks better than the last. I would love to know all her beauty secrets.
Five products you can’t travel without?
SB: 1. Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, it’s a quick fix for chapped lips or anything dry/itchy when you’re on the go.
2. Skinceuticals Conditioning toner, I bring it in a travel bottle and spray myself throughout my flight to stay hydrated
3.Ice Eye Sleeping Mask, I get really puffy eyes after flying and it takes quite some time to go down, especially if I’ve had snacks in flight. I throw on a sleep mask that’s made to be frozen in the freezer upon arrival and take a nap with it on.
4. Skinceuticals Gentle Cleanser, It takes off makeup amazingly well after a night out.
5. Elta MD UV Daily Tinted SPF. I am an island girl when it comes to vacation and I always need tons of SPF but still want my skin to look even and clear. A tinted SPF is my go to instead of makeup.
What is beauty to you?
SB: Beauty to me is feeling your best and being your best. When you feel your best on the inside you radiate beauty on the outside. If you have a healthy foundation to start with, it doesn’t take a lot on the outside to have the complete package.
